Jets' Marshall 1st player in NFL history with 6 seasons of 100 catches
An impressive level of consistency has earned Brandon Marshall a place in the NFL record books.
With his seventh catch Sunday against the New England Patriots, the New York Jets receiver became the first player in NFL history to record six seasons of at least 100 receptions.
His first three seasons reaching the mark came with the Denver Broncos from 2007-2009, while the next two were in his first two seasons with the Chicago Bears from 2012-2013.
Marshall's impressive 2015 - his first in New York - puts him one step above Andre Johnson and Wes Welker, the only two players with five career 100-catch seasons.
Marshall is leading the Jets in all major receiving categories, and he'll be making his sixth career Pro Bowl trip at season's end.
