Bucks' Bayless likely out until January

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Jerryd Bayless isn't expected to travel with the team on its upcoming road trip, according to Aron Yohannes of brewhoop.com.

Bayless missed the last 10 games for Milwaukee with a sprained ankle, and the Bucks have gone 5-5 in his absence.

The 27-year-old was having a career year prior to the injury, averaging highs in points (11.7), minutes (31.4), and 3-point percentage (.436).

Michael Carter-Williams has thrived in his role as a starter in Bayless' absence, averaging 12.9 points, 5.1 assists, and shooting 46.7 percent from the field when he starts.

Tyler Ennis should continue to serve as the team's backup point guard while Bayless rests.
