Kyrie Irving to make season debut Sunday
Irving (knee) will return to action Sunday for Cleveland's matchup with the Philadelphia, Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com reports.
Analysis:
After suffering a fractured kneecap in the NBA Finals last summer, Irving will make his highly anticipated season debut Sunday, as the Cavaliers welcome the 76ers to town. The former number one pick's return will come after missing the first 24 games of the season. He was originally expected to return in late December, so everything appears to have been on track. It is safe to assume Irving will be on a minute restriction until he works his way back to full health. Cleveland is also likely to rest the Duke product on one end of back-to-backs early on.
