The New York Rangers will make franchise history Friday.
The club has recalled Magnus Hellberg from the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack in light of an injury suffered by Antti Raanta on Thursday.
He'll serve as backup to Henrik Lundqvist on Friday in Winnipeg, giving the Rangers their first-ever active "Tre kronor" tandem.

An update on Raanta's status is expected later Friday.
