Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports
Cincinnati will be without Gunner Kiel for the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve, as the starting quarterback's dealing with a personal matter and didn't make the trip, coach Tommy Tuberville told Fox 19 News.
Kiel appeared in 10 games this season, throwing for 2777 yards and 19 touchdowns. Hayden Moore will likely make the start in place of the junior pivot.
Moore played in seven games this season, including two starts in place of an injured Kiel, throwing for 1683 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Bearcats face San Diego State on Dec. 24.
