Pederneiras responds to Rogan's claims that Aldo looked 'soft' and 'deflated'
In a leaked bit of audio during Jose Aldo's introduction at UFC 194, color commentator Joe Rogan referred to Aldo as "soft" and "deflated."
Rogan further discussed the issue with Brendan Schaub on his podcast recently, noting the physical differences between the Aldo that squared off with McGregor, and the Aldo that reigned over the featherweight division with an iron shin.
"He's never failed a test, but who knows," Schaub said, commenting on the fact that it was Aldo's first bout since the UFC partnered with the USADA on a more stringent drug screening process, according to MMAFighting.com's Guilherme Cruz. "You're batshit crazy if you don't think Jose Aldo's body looked different. You're batshit crazy if you think he's gonna fight the same. Also, his camp, I think, is 1-7, 0-8 since this drug testing came out. So you're talking about a different fighter, man. For me, that's a huge X-factor."
Aldo's longtime manager and coach at Nova Uniao, Andre Pederneiras, took to Twitter to respond to Rogan and Schaub's claims.

"To the clown that thinks Aldo was on something and isn't anymore, draw your own conclusions," Pederneiras wrote.
