The Baltimore Orioles and reliever Darren O'Day held a press conference Tuesday to announce a new four-year deal for the right-hander, but O'Day had ulterior motives.
O'Day arrived in casual attire for the gathering, and debuted a brand new mustache in an attempt to get the attention of his friend, and former Oriole, Chris Davis.

"No. 19 (Davis), he's a mustache enthusiast ... maybe he sees it and thinks that's where I want to play," O'Day said.
Davis - now a free agent - grew a mustache in August, and then proceeded to bash 11 home runs in 19 games with the new look. It is still featured as his profile picture on Twitter.
Baltimore reportedly offered Davis a seven-year, $154-million deal at the winter meetings earlier this month, but has since withdrawn its bid after growing impatient waiting for him to make a decision.
Although talks have broken down between Davis and the Orioles, O'Day is holding out hope Davis could reconcile with the club and hammer out a new deal in the coming weeks.
