Teddy Bridgewater had his eyes downfield hoping to move the Minnesota Vikings closer to a potential game-winning touchdown, or at least a game-tying field goal, but Dwight Freeney had other ideas.
Freeney came around the edge clean, reaching Bridgewater before he could get the pass off. The ball was knocked loose, allowing Freeney's teammate Calais Campbell to recover it, bringing an end to the Vikings' drive, and the game.
With the win, the 11-2 Cardinals became the second NFC team to clinch a playoff berth, after the Carolina Panthers secured a spot last week.
