Stanford left guard Joshua Garnett won the Outland Trophy on Thursday, which is handed out to the country's top interior lineman.
Garnett led Stanford's offensive line that helped open holes for Heisman Trophy finalist Christian McCaffrey to run through all year.
The senior lineman is Stanford's first winner of the trophy, and first player from the Pac-12 to win the award since Washington State's Rien Long in 2002
Garnett received the award over Alabama defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson and Baylor offensive guard Spencer Drango.
