VIDEO: Michy Batshuayi gives Marseille vital early lead against Liberec
Marseille is poised to advance to the Europa League Round of 32 thanks to an early goal from star striker Michy Batshuayi against Group F foes Liberec.
The Belgian international's 14th-minute individual effort gave Marseille a leg up on the three points, which, paired with a loss from Portuguese side Braga against FC Groningen, would see the South Coast side move joint-top with the Primeira Liga side.
Liberec will have to score twice to defeat Michel's men and vault them for second place in the group if they are going to have any hope of advancing. Marseille will advance with a draw.
The goal was Batshuayi's third of the continental campaign, coupled with 10 in the league in a season where the volcanic-hot 22-year-old is emerging as one of Europe's best young attackers.
