Following a mindless, sexist comment to referee Bibiana Steinhaus during Fortuna Dusseldorf's meeting with FSV Frankfurt last month, Kerem Demirbay was rightly handed with a suspension of five matches. But there was an extra "punishment" from the club itself.
Although he wasn't dressed the part, his little green and yellow whistle was evidence enough that Demirbay officiated a girls' match on Saturday.

The Flingeraner loanee, whose parent club is Hamburg, told Steinhaus in the Bundesliga 2 match that "women have no place in men's football."
