Sixteen months after snapping his leg like a felled tree branch, Indiana Pacers forward Paul George is back and better than ever.
Fresh off winning Player of the Month honors for November, George dropped a career-high 48 points in an overtime loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday.
George scored 14 points in the fourth quarter and had a chance to win in regulation, but his game-winning three clanked off the rim.
George shot 15-of-27 from the field, including 8-of-11 from deep, along with eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a losing effort.
