VIDEO: LeBron tells Heat fans to count the rings

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Current Cleveland Cavaliers star and four-time league MVP LeBron James won back-to-back NBA championships as a member of the Miami Heat in 2012, and 2013 - which some residents of South Beach seem to forget.

When the Cavaliers and Heat squared off at American Airlines Arena on Saturday night, "The King" was noticeably absent from Cleveland's lineup. Head coach David Blatt elected to sit James after he logged 45 minutes of playing time in a loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.

His presence was sorely missed as the Heat cruised to a convincing 99-84 victory. To rub salt in Cleveland's wounds, several fans in attendance decided to rile up James - who was sitting on the bench with his team during the game - by chanting "LeBron is tired" early in the fourth quarter.

James responded the best way he could: by subtly reminding the Heat that he brought them two rings.
