VIDEO: Michigan State's Cox takes points away with crazy end-zone pick

Thomas J. Russo / USA TODAY Sports

An old adage says that one must be good to get lucky.

Well, in the second quarter of the Big Ten championship game between Iowa and Michigan State, the Spartans turned their good play into good fortune.

Already trailing 6-3 and facing a third-and-goal, Riley Bullough and Demetrious Cox combined to take away a touchdown - as well as a potential field goal - by coming down with an interception that required a bit of a lucky bounce.

WOW!

And in the words of broadcaster Gus Johnson, it was "LIKE DEREK JETER!"
