Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira claims a host of clubs are chasing his signature, but that he is particularly interested in the advances of Chelsea, and manager Jose Mourinho.

The free-scoring Brazilian has been incredible for the Ukrainian outfit lately, fashioning 23 goals in 23 starts, and his form has caught the eye of some of the leading lights in European football.

"What I've heard and what my agent has said is that Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have made offers, but Chelsea and Juventus have gone further in the negotiations," Teixeira told Lance! via ESPN FC. "All three are big clubs. Wherever I'll end up, I'll be happy."

Teixeira is most excited by the offer from the Premier League, which he deems "the best championship in the world," but thinks a winter move will be tough to engineer.

"I believe it is very difficult for it to happen in January because it is in the middle of the championship. Shakhtar have said they will not release me in January, only at the end of the season, but I'm keeping a clear head.

"Only God knows what will happen tomorrow. I have two more years of contract with Shakhtar. I've been here so far, working with my team."

The 25-year-old is expected to again line up behind either Oleander Gladkiy or Facundo Ferreyra for Shakhtar's trip to Hoverla this weekend.
