Nuggets' Faried to miss 3rd straight game Friday vs. Spurs
Chris Humphreys / USA TODAY Sports
Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried will miss his third consecutive game on Friday when they take on the San Antonio Spurs.
Faried is dealing with a left ankle sprain, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports. The same injury also sidelined him during the Nuggets' losses against the Los Angeles Clippers, and Golden State Warriors.
It's been business as usual for Faried in 2015-16, his fifth season with the Nuggets. He's scoring 12.5 points, grabbing 9.1 rebounds, and shooting 59.9 percent from the field, all of which closely mirror his career averages.
The Nuggets, however, have been outscored by 6.5 points per 100 possessions with Faried on the court.
Power forward Darrell Arthur figures to draw the start in place of Faried.
