DFS: Bargain Plays - Wednesday's Top Sleeper Picks

Here are the top sleeper picks for Wednesday's 12-game NBA slate:

PG Terry Rozier, Celtics (vs. 76ers)

The Celtics' first-round pick from the 2015 NBA Draft hasn't made an impact yet this season, but his role is set to grow exponentially with G Marcus Smart (knee) out for the next several weeks. Rozier will be the primary backup to G Isaiah Thomas.

With the Celtics drawing the league's most favorable matchup Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers, Rozier should receive his first real taste of NBA game action. It should be a career night for the rookie, as he'll receive plenty of playing time in the second half.

SG Anthony Morrow, Thunder (vs. Nets)

Morrow has scored 15 and 14 points in each of his past two games, playing no less than 19 minutes in any of his last three. He currently has the hot hand off the Thunder bench, and he's a big part of the second unit.

The Thunder are heavy favorites at home against the Nets, and Morrow should receive significant run as G Russell Westbrook and F Kevin Durant are allowed to rest for long stretches of time.

SF Alonzo Gee, Pelicans (at Suns)

Gee received his sixth start of the season Sunday, and he finished just two points and three rebounds shy of a double-double. He also contributed five assists and three steals in 38 minutes against the Suns.

With G/F Tyreke Evans considered doubtful for his return from injury Wednesday, Gee could very well make another start in the rematch. He lacks real upside in any one category, but he's able to contribute in enough different ways to exceed value at a near-minimum cost.

PF Anthony Tolliver, Pistons (vs. Heat)

Tolliver has been regularly used as a top bench option by head coach Stan Van Gundy, averaging 20.3 minutes per game. His first real impact on offense was Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks, when he went 4-for-8 from the floor for 13 points. He's averaging 2.8 rebounds and 0.2 blocks per game.

His minutes have been consistently high and if he can stay efficient from the floor now that he has some confidence, he'll easily return value at a low cost.

C Andrea Bargnani, Nets (at Thunder)

Bargnani played 21 minutes Saturday against the Celtics, going 6-for-9 from the floor for 12 points. He also grabbed three rebounds and blocked a shot. Hardly numbers worthy of a first-overall pick, but very satisfying numbers for a minimum-cost player.

The Nets take on the heavily favored Thunder Wednesday, meaning Bargnani could attempt more 3-pointers in order to keep this one close. This has been Bargnani's worst NBA season in every major statistical category, but he's coming off his best game since the opener. He's a streaky shooter, and owners should look for this hot streak to extend at least one more game.
