Michigan State's Connor Cook will be game-time decision vs. Penn State

Michigan State is uncertain whether quarterback Connor Cook will be able to play Saturday against Penn State.

The Spartans pivot will likely be a game-time decision as Michigan State attempts to clinch the Big Ten East banner, according to ESPN's Dan Murphy.

Cook didn't play in the win over Ohio State after feeling discomfort in his shoulder in warmups.

"We'll see how it all shakes out," head coach Mark Dantonio said. "It's sort of hard to say. I assume things are moving forward but it's hard to assess those things until you get to game day, it really is. It hinges on very small things."

Dantonio added the team could hand the ball to backup duo Tyler O'Connor and Damion Terry again, while using Cook sparingly as an emergency.

Cook leads the Big Ten this season with 21 touchdowns and 2,482 yards in 10 game this season.
