George Hill out vs. 76ers with upper respiratory infection
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports
The Indiana Pacers will be without point guard George Hill for their game against the winless Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
Hill is dealing with an upper respiratory infection, and will miss his second game of the season as a result, the team announced.
The Pacers have been rather inconsistent so far this year, but they should still be able to handle the Sixers without their point guard in the lineup. Hill is the team's best playmaker, and a deadly shooter from deep, but the Pacers have a wealth of playmaking depth in the backcourt between Monta Ellis, and Paul George.
The 29-year-old Hill is averaging 14 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 45.3 percent from deep this season.
