Robert Whittaker outworks Uriah Hall to take decision at UFC 193

Robert Whittaker put on his work boots against Uriah Hall.

Whittaker outworked, out-hustled, and out-landed Hall for three rounds at UFC 193 in Australia on Saturday night, as "Prime Time" unleashed his standard "nothing ... nothing ... nothing ... something spectacular" performance against the Australian, who was more than happy to fill Hall's inactivity with hard punches to the face.

Whittaker used hard, consistent combinations to shut down Hall's video-game-esque offense, easily outpointing, and even hurting, his foe, who, after doing very little in the opening 10 minutes, turned up the heat in the final stanza, hitting Whittaker with a few flashy head kicks and a flying knee.

It simply wasn't enough to derail Whittaker, who was far, far (far) more active than his flashier counterpart, and it showed when Bruce Buffer read the scorecards.
