Report: Rockets' Beverley on crutches, out indefinitely
Bad news for the struggling Houston Rockets: Pesky point guard Patrick Beverley will be out indefinitely with an ankle injury, Mark Berman of Fox26 reports.
Beverley sustained the injury during the Rockets' letdown against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
He was spotted on crutches prior to Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Pat Beverley walked past Rick Carlisle on crutches. Carlisle said 'I'll miss you tonight.' Beverley joked back 'oh, I bet you will.'

The Rockets are stacked in the backcourt, with James Harden and Ty Lawson soaking up the majority of minutes, but the team has sputtered out of the gate. They rank 21st in offense and 26th in defensive rating while sporting a pedestrian 4-5 record after finishing with the third-best record in the league last season.
Expect Marcus Thornton and Jason Terry to see an uptick in minutes during Beverley's absence.
