The Philadelphia Flyers have placed forward R.J. Umberger and defenseman Mark Streit on injured reserve.
Umberger continues to be hampered by a lower-body injury that's kept him out of two straight contests, while Streit has a detached pubic plate and will have surgery Tuesday. He is expected to be out for six weeks.
In wake of the Umberger and Streit roster moves, forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare has been activated from injured reserve.
Bellemare has been out since Oct. 27 with a lower-body injury.
In other news, the Flyers recalled forward Taylor Leier and defenseman Shayne Gotisbehere from the AHL's Leigh Valley Phantoms.
