DFS: Pigskin Panel - The 3 Biggest Questions of Week 10

Each week, theScore's DFS experts tackle the biggest questions of the week. Here are three of the most significant issues of Week 10:

Which player is a must-own across all formats?

Andrew Potter: Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski. There is no player in the game whose ceiling towers over the rest of their position like he does. At this point, Gronk is a doomsday weapon. He was put on ice in last week's lopsided win over Washington, but the Giants always play the Patriots tight. Belichick will exorcise his demons by using Gronk to eviscerate New York's defense.

Jason Wilson: Consider a different New England player the must-own DFS option of the week. Julian Edelman has been the steadiest wide receiver in the NFL. His highs may not be the highest, but he's guaranteed a bunch of targets - one of the only sure things in the Patriots' offense - and is a constant TD threat. He's tied for the league lead in TDs by a WR with seven.

Josh Ghatak: Vikings stud Adrian Peterson should be owned in cash and GPP games for Week 10. Peterson brought his best last week in a matchup against rookie Todd Gurley, and has now run for 100+ yards in back-to-back games. Peterson should be in for another 20-25 carries this week against host Oakland, giving him a cash game-worthy floor and the upside for GPP play.

Ken Conrad: Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. is always among the highest-priced wide receivers, but he's had two huge weeks in a row, seemingly alleviating any worries over his hamstrings. New York is going to have to throw early and often to keep up with the Patriots, and Beckham's targets and catches should each be in double figures.

Which Week 9 bust is primed for a big Week 10?

Andrew Potter: Redskins QB Kirk Cousins. He has been atrocious on the road but not that bad at home, averaging 19.4 points in standard scoring. He'll take on a Saints defense that makes sieves jealous; Eli Manning and Marcus Mariota threw for a combined 721 yards and 10 TDs over the past two weeks against New Orleans.

Jason Wilson: Miami's Ryan Tannehill has had a rough couple weeks after it looked like he had finally turned the corner against Houston. His strength has been his accuracy. Since the bye week, Tannehill has completed 74% of his passes - a better rate than any other QB over that time. His lack of touchdowns is concerning, but his DFS price tag has dropped considerably.

Josh Ghatak: Gronkowski. DFS players should not expect another dud from Gronk - especially against the porous Giants' pass defense, which ranks 31st in the league in allowing 308 yards per game. The Giants have also allowed five touchdowns to tight ends this year and two weeks ago were scorched by Ben Watson for 147 yards and a TD.

Ken Conrad: Redskins WR DeSean Jackson managed just three catches for 15 yards in his return from a hamstring injury, but should reach the end zone for the first time this season against a Saints secondary that has allowed 10 TD passes in the last two games. As an added bonus, Jackson is reasonably priced across the majority of DFS sites.

Which off-the-radar tight end is worth a flier?

Andrew Potter: Green Bay's Richard Rodgers. The Packers need to regain their composure heading into a stretch of four straight division games. Aaron Rogers has been beaten up by the opposing defenses; expect to see him attempt more short-yardage passes to keep the Lions' defense honest. Rodgers is dirt cheap and is Rodgers' best short-yardage option.

Jason Wilson: Detroit's Eric Ebron is one of the lone bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season for the Lions. On a team with WR Calvin Johnson and QB Matthew Stafford leading the offensive charge, it's understandable that Ebron has been somewhat ignored. He's inexpensive and consistent, and therefore worth a flier in all formats.

Josh Ghatak: Washington's Jordan Reed should have a strong Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints and their 30th-ranked pass defense. Only last week, Delanie Walker and Anthony Fasano combined for 128 yards and three touchdowns. The presence of Jackson will also benefit Reed as the threat of a long bomb should open up the short passing game.

Ken Conrad: Tampa Bay's Austin Seferian-Jenkins was able to practice last week before ultimately being ruled inactive last Sunday. If he can return this week from a shoulder injury suffered against Dallas in Week 2, he'll help fill a pass-catching void that has been compounded with WR Vincent Jackson's recent absence due to a knee ailment.
