Gobert questionable for Jazz on Thursday
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
The Utah Jazz got a scare from Rudy Gobert Tuesday night when the rim protector extraordinaire briefly left a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers with an injured ankle. He returned to that contest, but has now been listed as questionable for Thursday's tilt with the Miami Heat.
Gobert landed awkwardly from a layup attempt in the fourth quarter of the game.
The 23-year-old did not participate in practice Wednesday. The Miami game is the first of a back-to-back for Utah, with the team in Orlando to face the Magic Friday.
There's no minimizing Gobert's value to the Jazz. The Frenchman is the team's defensive anchor and leading rebounder. He ranks third in the league in blocks.
