DFS: Counterattack - Week 10's Best Contrarian Plays

Cary Edmondson / USA TODAY Sports

Here's a look at this week's top contrarian plays:

QB Russell Wilson, Seahawks (vs. Cardinals)

Oh, Wilson, how you provide fantasy owners headaches.

The 27-year-old quarterback has one of the premier tight ends in the game in Jimmy Graham, but he struggles to find him in the open field.

The Cardinals have a great passing game, and if the Seahawks fall behind early, Wilson will be forced to air it out - presenting a great opportunity to own him at a low price tag.

RB Latavius Murray, Raiders (vs. Vikings)

Murray supplied DFS owners with a reasonable return in Week 9, even with two lost fumbles lowered his value.

The Raiders face a great Vikings pass defense this week, which means if QB Derek Carr struggles from the get-go, Murray can be expected to have himself a day against a defense allowing 111.6 YPG on the ground.

Murray still needs to be officially cleared from the league's concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's kickoff, but he declared himself good to go for Week 10.

WR James Jones, Packers (vs. Lions)

A plum pass defense like the Lions' is just what QB Aaron Rodgers and company need to get back in the win column.

A lot of owners will have a Rodgers/Randall Cobb stack this week, but a Rodgers/Jones stack presents a lower-ownership percentage with the potential for multiple touchdowns.

TE Kyle Rudolph, Vikings (at Raiders)

The Raiders have allowed opposing TEs to put up productive fantasy games, giving Rudolph extra value this week.

That said, Rudolph has eclipsed the 30-yard barrier just once over eight games. His matchup with the Raiders isn't a guaranteed big day for the struggling TE, but if QB Teddy Bridgewater is starting, fire him up in GPPs.
