Report: Reggie Bush plans to sue city of St. Louis over season-ending injury

San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush is planning to sue the city of St. Louis after suffering a season-ending knee injury at the Edward Jones Dome, a source close to the player told Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Bush sustained the ailment during a Nov. 1 game against the St. Louis Rams, after he slipped on concrete while running out of bounds.

The 30-year-old reportedly retained attorney Shawn Holley in his case against the city. Holley is famous for her work on O.J. Simpson's legal team, and has represented a number of high-profile clients including rappers Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur.

The city's Sports Authority and Convention Bureau owns the Edward Jones Dome. Bush will likely suggest the city was grossly negligent in placing a slippery concrete surface near the field of play, the source told La Canfora.
