Leicester City goal machine Jamie Vardy was at it again Saturday, scoring his tenth goal in nine matches to creep closer to the standard for consistency set by former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

His 65th-minute goal from the penalty spot was his 12th of the campaign, and with a goal in nine matches on the trot, he is one short of tying van Nistelrooy's 2003 record of consecutive Premier League games with a goal.
The 28-year-old Sheffield-born striker has been emblematic of the Foxes' success this season, as Claudio Ranieri's squad provisionally moved joint-top on 25 points with Saturday's win over Watford.
