Kindl salvages win over Maple Leafs by going roof on Reimer in OT

Outshot and outplayed in Toronto, the Detroit Red Wings escaped with an overtime win thanks to defenseman Jakub Kindl.

Leading most of the way thanks to Henrik Zetterberg's 300th career goal, Detroit watched as the Maple Leafs tied the contest late in the third period, courtesy of a Dion Phaneuf attempt that bounced of Petr Mrazek's stick.

But while Toronto held a 33-21 shot advantage after regulation, Detroit recorded the only three in overtime, ending the game on this snipe from Kindl:

True to current form, Toronto drove the play and recorded 69 total shot attempts - as compared to 43 from Detroit - but ended up on the losing end of things for the 11th time in 13 games.
