Pistons' Drummond grabs career-high 29 boards in 2nd straight 20-20 game
Tuesday was World Cliche Day, and in that vein, Andre Drummond was really cleaning the glass.
The Detroit Pistons center had a career-high 29 rebounds in an 94-82 loss to the Indiana Pacers, his second straight 20-point, 20-rebound game.

The 20-20 performance is the sixth of Drummond's career, and the second time he went for 25 and 25 in a loss. While he'd assuredly trade it for a win, he's in some pretty good company with that statistic. The only other player to do it in the last 30 years is Hakeem Olajuwon.
Despite Drummond's play, a suspect Pistons bench managed only two points in the defeat. Meanwhile, Rodney Stuckey led the Pacers off their bench with 23 points, while Paul George had 16 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
Pacers' center Ian Mahinmi left the game with a back issue and did not return. That merits watching with Indiana very thin up front.
