Heat's Green under the weather, out against Hawks
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Gerald Green of the Miami Heat will not play in Tuesday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks due to illness.
Green has had two subpar games in a row after putting up a nice 19-point line in the season opener against the Charlotte Hornets. In three games with the Heat so far this year, his first season in Miami, he's averaging 10.3 points on only 32.3 percent shooting, but at a 41.2 percent clip from deep.
The Heat are also without Amar'e Stoudemire for the game, and have listed center Chris Andersen as active.
Rookie Justise Winslow figures to see more minutes in Green's absence.
