Jim Harbaugh: Whole milk, steak are key ingredients for a top quarterback
Jesse Johnson / USA TODAY Sports
Every football parent wants his or her kid to be the star quarterback.
That kid might have the talent, but will face long odds if he or she isn't given the physical tools to do so. Fortunately, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has the formula.
"I take a vitamin every day," Harbaugh said on his radio show, according to MLive.com's Nick Baumgadner. "It's called a steak."
Harbaugh was then asked how a parent might be able to get his young son in line to be a stout 6-foot-5 quarterback. He gave that listener the most Harbaugh answer ever.
"I truly believe the No. 1 natural steroid is sleep, and the No. 2 natural steroid is milk, whole milk," he said. "Three would be water. Four would be steak."
Not skim milk, whole milk. And steak.
