Vancouver Canucks defenseman Luca Sbisa was placed on injured reserve Monday with an undisclosed injury, Jeff Paterson of TSN 1040 reports.
Analysis:
The exact nature of the injury is unclear at this point, but Sbisa had earlier been seen in a walking boot in the arena and it's believed he suffered the injury late in Friday's contest against the Coyotes. Coach Willie Desjardins indicated that the setback could be a serious one, saying "he'll be out longer" than just day-to-day.
