VIDEO: Senators' Stone catches Red Wings' Ferraro with high hit

Detroit Red Wings forward Landon Ferraro is lucky to escape with no serious injuries after taking a high hit from Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone in Saturday night's game.

Stone looked to catch Ferraro in the head with his shoulder, a dangerous hit that left Ferraro on the ice for a couple second.

Stone received a two-minute minor for an illegal check to the head and though Ferraro did head to the dressing room following the hit, he did return later in the second period.

Stone's hit is reportedly being reviewed by the Department of Player Safety, according to Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun.
