Pistons' Meeks leaves game with sore right foot; does not return
Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports
Detroit Pistons guard Jodie Meeks left Wednesday's home opener against the Utah Jazz in the second quarter with what the team describes as a "sore right foot."
Meeks did not return.
He will receive an X-ray to determine the extent of the damage.
Meeks finished the night without a basket in six minutes of action off the bench. He averaged 11.1 points on 41.6 percent shooting in 60 games last season for the Pistons.
