Warriors' Bogut diagnosed with concussion

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut has been diagnosed with a concussion, the team announced Wednesday.

There is no timetable for his return. Bogut will not be cleared to return to action until passing the NBA's concussion protocol guidelines.

The former No. 1 overall pick left Tuesday's home opener against the New Orleans Pelicans with 7:07 remaining in the third quarter following a head-to-head collision with Dante Cunningham.

Bogut, 30, scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting in 18 minutes of action prior to leaving the game. He needed stitches to patch up a laceration over his right eye.
