DFS: Mystery Men - Week 8's Top Sleepers

James Lang / USA TODAY Sports

Here's a look at the best DFS sleeper picks of Week 8:

QB Johnny Manziel or Josh McCown, Browns (vs. Cardinals)

This is mostly predicated on the possibility that McCown does not start. If the Browns decide McCown needs the extra rest, Manziel will be as cheap an option as you will find among starters.

Mr. J. Football had many a Browns fan calling his name early in the season as he threw three TDs to only one INT over the first two weeks. McCown has somewhat silenced his critics - amassing 1,686 yards and eight TDs - and has proven to be a viable DFS option.

Both are available for discounted prices. Monitor the situation and feel free to roll the dice, because the Cardinals pose a challenging matchup.

RB Khiry Robinson, Saints (vs. Giants)

While Robinson hasn't been included in the Saints passing game often since his five receptions in Week 1, he is showing occasional bursts of value. In Week 7, he scored two touchdowns against the Colts making him a nice GPP play.

The good news is his price hasn't budged. He is of the boom or bust variety, and will not get many yards on the ground, but the Saints have periodically used him near the goalline. The four scores are only one behind New Orleans lead back Mark Ingram and he costs a lot less.

WR Dwayne Harris, Giants (at Saints)

As long as Victor Cruz remains sidelined, it's a bit of a crapshoot regarding who is most likely to spell Odell Beckham Jr. in the Giants' receiving game.

Harris carries additional value as a kick returner. He took one to the house against the Cowboys in Week 7. His mileage will vary as he didn't have a reception until Week 4.

TE Garrett Celek, 49ers (at Rams)

Celek is Vernon Davis' backup and he only has one reception over the last two games. It's fair to say his floor is extremely low. He hasn't been entirely overlooked, though. He caught a TD against the Giants in Week 5 and had 14 receptions through that game.

He's not expected to produce, but he could scavenge a rogue TD. There may be better options, even at his paltry price, but he is most definitely not going to be found in many lineups if you're looking to make it unique.
