O.J. Mayo: Ruled out for opener
Mayo (hamstring) will not play in Wednesday's season opener against the Knicks, CF Gardner of the Journal Sentinel reports.
Analysis:
Mayo is dealing with an undisclosed hamstring issue, and his absence means the Bucks will be rather shorthanded on the wing, as Jabari Parker (knee) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (suspension) will also sit out Wednesday. With Mayo out, Jerryd Bayless and Greivis Vasquez should see larger roles off the bench, as could rookie Rashad Vaughn, who impressed during the preseason.
