DFS: Thursday's NHL Injury Report

Here's a look at the injury situation heading into Thursday night's action.

Anaheim Ducks

Defensemen Simon Despres and Clayton Stoner are both day-to-day with upper-body injuries.

Arizona Coyotes

Bottom-six forward Joe Vitale is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Chicago Blackhawks

Defenseman Duncan Keith was placed on long-term injured reserve with a knee injury, while fellow defenseman MIchal Rozsival is still on injured reserve until early November.

Columbus Blue Jackets

No injury concerns.

Dallas Stars

Forward Patrick Eaves remains on injured reserve with a lower-body injury, while depth forwards Travis Moen and Curtis McKenzie are day-to-day with upper-body and lower-body injuries, respectively.

Florida Panthers

No injury concerns.

Los Angeles Kings

Defenseman Matt Greene has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to play Thursday.

Minnesota Wild

No injury concerns.

Nashville Predators

Defenseman Ryan Ellis was back at practice Wednesday after missing Tuesday's game with a leg injury, so he should be back in the lineup Thursday.

New Jersey Devils

Center Patrik Elias hasn't played yet this season due to a knee injury, while winger Tuomo Ruutu missed Tuesday's game but may be able to return Thursday.

New York Rangers

Center Derek Stepan missed Wednesday's practice after having his wisdom teeth removed, but should be able to play Thursday.

Ottawa Senators

Defenseman Marc Methot is considered day-to-day with a concussion, while winger Clarke MacArthur isn't close to returning from a concussion of his own.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Winger Pascal Dupuis is making a surprise return to the lineup, his first in nearly a year. Rookie winger Daniel Sprong missed Tuesday's game due to a work visa issue, but the matter should be cleared in time for Thursday's game. Center Kevin Porter is day-to-day with an injury suffered during Tuesday's game, while forwards Beau Bennett and Eric Fehr will continue to remain sidelined for at least Thursday's contest.

San Jose Sharks

Logan Couture remains on long-term injured reserve, while defenseman Paul Martin is a doubt for Thursday after having missed Wednesday's practice due to an unknown ailment. Rookie winger Joonas Donskoi may be able to return after having been able to practice Wednesday.

Vancouver Canucks

Winger Chris Higgins will remain sidelined until November with a foot injury.

Washington Capitals

No injury concerns.
