Anne-Marie Sorvin / USA TODAY Sports

Here is a look at the injuries impacting Wednesday's NHL games:

Joe Morrow may return after suffering from the flu over the past week. He did return to practice on Tuesday but still no official word on his status.

Buffalo Sabres

Cody Franson did not take part in Monday's practice and is ruled as day-to-day. He seems likely for tonight's tilt against Toronto but be sure to monitor his status.

Defenseman Tyson Barrie is out due to suspension.

Detroit Red Wings

Winger, Johan Franzen will miss tonight's game with concussion symptoms. Star winger, Pavel Datsyuk is out until early- or mid-November.

Edmonton Oilers

Matt Hendricks and Jordan Eberle are out as Edmonton hosts Detroit. Hendricks has been placed on IR with a foot injury while Eberle is progressing through a shoulder issue.

Philadelphia Flyers

No injury issues to report.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Tyler Bozak is expected to miss Wednesday's game with a lower body injury. He has been unable to practice the past two days.
