VIDEO: USC pulls off trick play for easy touchdown vs. Notre Dame

It hasn't been the greatest of weeks for USC and the Trojan faithful.

However, the off-field issues surrounding the USC program were temporarily forgotten during their biggest game of the year against rival Notre Dame on Saturday, when interim head coach Clay Helton dipped into his bag of tricks in the second quarter.

Quarterback Cody Kessler set up the trick play by throwing across the field to receiver Jalen Greene, who then stopped, threw - with plenty of time - and found a wide-open JuJu Smith-Schuster, who took it 75 yards for the touchdown.

If it looks like Greene has a natural throwing motion, it's because he indeed knows how to throw the deep ball well. The Trojans initially recruited him to play quarterback, and he was switched to receiver over the summer.
