VIDEO: Daniel Murphy continues to own Kershaw

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Clayton Kershaw is doing everything he can to keep the Los Angeles Dodgers' season alive, but he couldn't fend off archnemesis Daniel Murphy.

The New York Mets second baseman continued his hot-hitting ways against the reigning MVP on Tuesday, smashing a fourth-inning solo shot to break up Kershaw's no-hitter and cut his team's Game 4 deficit to 3-1.

The left-handed Murphy hit just one home run against same-sided pitchers this season, but already has two this series off Kershaw. He entered the game 3-for-10 versus the three-time Cy Young winner.
