Rex Ryan: Tyrod Taylor has ankle injury, hasn't been 100 percent all season

It's apparent watching the Buffalo Bills that quarterback Tyrod Taylor is playing hurt.

Head coach Rex Ryan admitted as much Monday, saying Taylor hasn't been at 100 percent all season.

An ankle injury is Taylor's primary issue, Ryan told reporters.

Indeed, Taylor moved effectively in Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans, producing 76 yards and a touchdown in eight rushing attempts, but he often appeared to favor his lower body during and after runs.

Taylor even exited the game at one point, but returned after one play (an EJ Manuel handoff).

There's no indication the Bills expect Taylor's injuries to force him to miss any time, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the team limit his practice participation to allow him extra time to heal.

The Bills' bye week is Week 8, so Taylor doesn't have long to wait before he can take an extended break to get well.
