Rookie Artemi Panarin scored with his first shot (on New York Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist, no less) as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks in the first period of Wednesday's season opener, after a gorgeous dish from Patrick Kane.
And if there was any question where Panarin came from, the Alex Ovechkin-like leap into the glass should provide at least a little indication.
