Seahawks' Carroll: Lynch considered day to day; possible game-time decision

Joe Nicholson / USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch's status will not be known until the end of the week, head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday.

Lynch is considered day to day at this point, as he attempts to recover from a hamstring injury.

The running back could end up being a game-time decision for the Seahawks before they face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Carroll expressed optimism yesterday that Lynch will be ready to play Sunday, so at this point his status is still very much uncertain.

The Seahawks were without Lynch in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions on Monday, and had to rely upon rookie Thomas Rawls, who rushed for 48 yards on 17 carries.
