Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Gus Bradley announced.

The nine-year veteran will be re-evaluated in the coming days, but there's been no update as to how long he'll be out.

Posluszny joined the Jags as a free agent in 2011 and remains one of their top defensive players.

Rookie Thurston Armbrister will likely step in in Posluszny's stead, playing alongside Telvin Smith and Dan Skuta in the Jaguars' starting linebacker corps.
