Report: Marshawn Lynch deemed '50-50' to play Monday vs. Lions

Joe Nicholson / USA TODAY Sports

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is considered "50-50" to play Monday night against the Detroit Lions, due to a recurring hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Lynch was considered a game-time decision Sunday against the Chicago Bears. The Seahawks' superstar rushed for 14 yards on five carries, but did not suit up for the second half.

Thomas Rawls and Fred Jackson are likely to split carries if Lynch misses Monday night's game. Lynch suffered the injury in a Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

One of the NFL's premier running backs, it would be a harrowing loss for the Seahawks' run-heavy scheme to overcome if Lynch was sidelined for a prolonged period.
