VIDEO: Jets' Maurice sour after Wild ice top power-play unit in blowout
Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice wasn't thrilled with the antics of Minnesota Wild head coach Mike Yeo during the team's 8-1 shelling Sunday.
The Jets played a very forgettable preseason game against their Central Division foes and though the game means nothing in the standings, Maurice offered some tongue-in-cheek comments about Yeo, who iced his top power-play unit with the Wild up 8-1 in the third period.
"You get in those games, and they're going to keep putting out good players," Maurice said postgame. "Like when they got an 8-1 lead. They got a power play. The best is coming out. In an exhibition game."

Yeo responded to Maurice's comments, saying the decision to ice his team's top guys was in retaliation to Jets enforcer Anthony Peluso who was "running around."
