LeBron James is hoping to elevate your sneaker game.
After giving the world a glimpse of the greatness on a magazine cover, the Cleveland Cavaliers star and Nike officially debuted the "LEBRON 13" sneakers on Sunday in Akron, Ohio.

Always known to rep his hometown strong, James said that the first colorway will be named for Akron. The shoe also includes design elements to memorialize Ohio's role in space, according to Akron Beacon Journal's Paula Schleis.
"Akronite" is even included on the sole of the 13s under his name.

According to Nike.com, the LEBRON 13 "Written in the Stars" colorway is set for global release on Oct. 10, and the LEBRON 13 "Away" colorway on Oct. 27.
