Mourinho fuels Wenger feud: Only one manager is not under pressure

Jose Mourinho says counterpart Arsene Wenger is the only manager who's not under pressure.

The Chelsea boss, however, did so without naming Wenger, as Mourinho was visibly upset by the treatment he receives from the Football Association whenever he utters a criticism.

"In this country only one manager is not under pressure, every other manager is under pressure," he told reporters.

"Manuel Pellegrini, Brendan Rodgers, Steve McClaren. We cannot lose matches, we cannot be below expectations."

Adding to Mourinho's frustrations was the English governing body's decision to overturn its recent ruling regarding a game against Arsenal. Chelsea forward Diego Costa received a three-match ban while Gunners centre-back Gabriel Paulista had his three-match suspension rescinded, but later received a one-game ban for improper conduct.

Mourinho continued to chastise Wenger, listing the various FA infringements and failures that the Arsenal manager seemingly escapes without penalty.

"He can speak about referees, push people in the technical areas, can cry in the morning and afternoon, nothing happens," Mourinho told reporters, alluding to last season's infamous moment when the two managers were involved in a minor tussle during last season's fixture.

"Cannot achieve, keep his job, can still be the king, it is privilege."

It's a safe bet that the two won't exchange any pleasantries when their teams lock horns again in January.
