Bruins' Chara day to day with upper-body injury

Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara is day to day after suffering an upper-body injury during Thursday's preseason game against the New York Rangers.
The captain collided in the first period with forward Ryan Bourque.

The Bruins are already without Dennis Seidenberg and can ill afford to lose Chara for any length of time. They open their season against the Winnipeg Jets on Oct. 8.
